After the consultation appointment, if orthodontic treatment sounds like something that you are interested in, we would like to make measurements of your teeth and jaws. This can often be done on the same day as your consultation. To make these measurements we take a series of x-rays, photographs, and mouth molds. These diagnostic records will give Doctor Getchell all of the information that he needs to develop a detailed treatment plan specifically designed to give you an optimal bite and smile.
At the consultation appointment we will ask you to fill out some forms so that Dr. Getchell can best understand your overall concerns and health history. At your first appointment we will gladly determine pre-authorization of insurance benefits. We accept and file insurance assignment to make sure that your benefits are maximized. If you participate in a flexible spending plan, we can help you to plan your orthodontic expenses by using pre-tax dollars.
